Your Role as a Supply Teaching AssistantWorking as a supply Teaching Assistant, you may support pupils across EYFS, KS1 and KS2 in primary schools throughout Wolverhampton.
Depending on the school and year group, your day could involve:
- Assisting teachers with classroom activities and learning
- Providing 1:1 or small-group support
- Helping pupils develop their reading, phonics, writing and maths skills
- Supporting children with SEND and additional learning needs
- Encouraging positive behaviour and participation
- Helping pupils remain engaged and confident in lessons
- Supporting classroom routines, play and emotional development
- Building experience across different primary school environments
