Role description:
Our client requires an experienced user researcher to support the Legal Practice Management (LPM) Project as it develops non-contentious legal practice requirements and configuration for Clio Operate. The role will focus on advisory non-contentious matter types, working closely with subject matter experts, a business analyst and a product owner. The user researcher will lead on user needs, behaviours and experience; the business analyst will focus on process, data, workflow, requirements, configuration implications and traceability.
Key responsibilities
- Work with non-contentious SMEs, a business analyst, product owner and wider LPM team to understand non-contentious lawyer user needs for a legal practice management system.
- Translate discovery findings into clear actionable insights and prioritised user stories, identifying process pain points, duplication, local variations, manual workarounds and opportunities for simplification, standardisation and improvement.
- Communicate insights from research in engaging and impactful ways to the delivery team and stakeholders.
- Ensure that participants with access needs and low digital skills are included in all research.
- Apply ethical research standards and practices to ensure the safeguarding and wellbeing of participants.
