A1 Jobs are currently recruiting for reliable and motivated 3.5T Van Driver to join our client’s team on a temporary basis basis. You’ll play a vital role in ensuring our goods are delivered safely, on time, and with excellent customer service.
Responsibilities
- Carry out multi-drop deliveries and collections
- Load and unload the vehicle safely and efficiently
- Complete delivery paperwork and use handheld devices for tracking
- Carry out vehicle checks and report any defects
- Adhere to all road safety regulations and company policies
Requirements
- Full UK Driving Licence (Category B)
- Minimum 2 years experience driving a 3.5T vehicle
- No more than 6 points on licence. No DD`s or DR`s
- Good knowledge of local and national road networks
- Excellent communication and time management skills
- Physically fit – some lifting may be requiredWork weekend
- Work any five days out of seven
Rates of pay
- Day rate £13.35
- Overtime Rate £20.02
