Job Title: Van Driver – Waste Collection
Location: City-based role
We are currently recruiting for a Van Driver to carry out waste collection duties across the city. This is a hands-on role suited to someone reliable, hardworking, and comfortable with early starts and physically demanding work.
Key Details:
- Start Time: 06:00am
- Finish Time: Approximately 18:00pm
- Working Days: 5 days per week
- Pay Rate: Minimum wage during training period, increasing to £14.00 per hour once fully trained
Responsibilities:
- Driving a company van to complete waste collection routes
- Collecting and loading rubbish from designated locations
- Ensuring all collections are completed efficiently and on schedule
- Following health & safety guidelines at all times
Requirements:
- Full UK driving licence
- Good knowledge of the local area
- Physically fit and able to handle manual work
- Reliable, punctual, and committed
