Van Driver Car Parts

Driver Hire Uxbridge is currently recruiting Van Drivers for our client based in Hayes, a leading Auto Parts Store.

This role involves manual handling - transporting vehicle stock and parts between showrooms and service centres, ensuring deliveries are completed safely, efficiently and on time.
 

PAYE £14.30 to £17.00 per hour (including holiday pay)

This role is on a Temporary adhoc basis – shifts are not guaranteed

Duties of a Van Driver:

• Transport automotive stock, vehicle parts, and accessories between showrooms and service centre
• Complete scheduled deliveries and collections in a timely and professional manner
• Load and unload vehicle parts safely, ensuring goods are handled with care
• Check deliveries against paperwork and report any discrepancies or damage
• Provide a professional service when dealing with customers, showroom and workshop staff
• Maintain a clean and organised vehicle, carry out daily vehicle safety checks
• Comply with all road traffic regulations and company health & safety procedures

Van Driver Requirements:

• Full UK Cat B manual driving licence 2+ years
• No more than 6 points (no DR, DD, TT, IN or MS90 endorsements)
• Age 25+ for insurance purposes
• Previous commercial van driving experience preferred (references required)
• Good geographical knowledge of London and the surrounding areas
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
• Good communication skills and attention to detail
