Location: Cranleigh, Surrey (with deliveries across London and one day per week to Bristol)
Hours: 41.25 hours per week
Pay: £12.71 - £13.05 per hour
Contract: Temporary to Permanent Opportunity

About the Role

We are recruiting for a reliable and experienced Van Driver to join our client's team based in Cranleigh. This is a temp-to-perm opportunity for the right candidate.

The successful candidate will be responsible for collecting and delivering bathroom interior products and materials to customers and suppliers across London and the surrounding areas, as well as completing one delivery route to Bristol each week. The role involves multiple daily drops and collections, so excellent time management and organisation are essential.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely load, transport and unload bathroom interior products.
• Complete multiple deliveries and collections each day across London and the surrounding areas.
• Carry out one scheduled delivery route to Bristol each week.
• Ensure goods are transported safely and arrive in excellent condition.
• Conduct daily vehicle checks and report any defects promptly.
• Plan routes efficiently while adhering to delivery schedules.
• Maintain a professional and courteous manner when dealing with customers and suppliers.

Person Specification 

• Full UK driving licence.
• Previous experience driving long wheelbase or loaded vans.
• Confident driving in Central London and surrounding areas.
• Experience completing multi-drop deliveries and collections.
• Good geographical knowledge of London and the South East.
• Physically fit and comfortable loading and unloading goods.
• Reliable, punctual and able to work independently.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
