Job Title: Long-Distance Van Driver & Fitter (Temp-to-Perm)

Location: Trafford Park
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm
Pay: £13.50–£14.00 per hour
Contract: Temp-to-Perm

We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Long-Distance Van Driver & Fitter to join our team based in Trafford Park. This is an excellent temp-to-perm opportunity for someone who enjoys a varied role, combining driving, customer service, and hands-on workshop duties.

• Delivering and collecting small plant and tools to and from customer sites.

• Carrying out long-distance van driving across the North of the UK as required.

• Loading and unloading equipment safely and securely.

• Performing basic mechanical checks, cleaning, and preparing equipment for hire.

• Assisting with basic repairs and maintenance where required.

• Working in the workshop to ensure equipment is ready for customers.

• Completing delivery paperwork and maintaining excellent customer service at all times.

• Following all health and safety procedures.

• Full UK driving licence and over 25 for insurance purposes (essential).

• Experience driving vans for commercial deliveries.

• Basic mechanical knowledge or experience working with plant, tools, or similar equipment.

• Good communication and customer service skills.

• Physically fit and able to handle manual lifting.

• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently.

• £13.50–£14.00 per hour, depending on experience.

• Monday to Friday working hours – no weekend work.
