Location: St Albans, AL2

Hours: Full time, Monday to Friday, between 7:00am – 7:00pm. 40 hours per week. 

Salary: £27,000 - £28,000 per annum

An excellent opportunity has now arisen for a Van Driver to join our client's successful team.

Our client is a well-established events and logistics business providing equipment and support services to corporate clients, venues and suppliers across the UK. This is a varied opportunity combining driving and warehouse duties, with the chance to work with prestigious venues and clients across London and the wider UK.

Duties of a Van Driver:

• Drive a long-wheelbase van to event venues, suppliers and corporate clients
• Complete deliveries and collections primarily across Central London and the M25
• Occasionally travel further afield throughout the UK
• Load and unload event equipment safely and efficiently
• Ensure deliveries and collections are completed on time
• Carry out daily vehicle checks and report any issues
• Maintain the cleanliness and condition of the company vehicle
• Communicate professionally with clients, suppliers and event staff
• Assist with warehouse duties when not out on the road
• Work closely with the operations team and other drivers to ensure jobs are completed successfully

What we would like from you:

• Previous experience driving long-wheelbase or 3.5-tonne vehicles
• Full UK Driving Licence with no more than 3 penalty points
• Previous multi-drop delivery experience
• Comfortable driving within Central London and the M25
• Good geographical knowledge and route planning skills
• Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling duties
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Flexible approach to working hours and overtime
• Reliable, professional and hardworking attitude
• Warehouse experience would be beneficial but is not essential
