We are recruiting on behalf of our client for a Commercial Vehicle Technician based in Halesowen, West Midlands. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled and experienced commercial vehicle technician seeking to advance their career within a professional automotive environment. Duties of the Commercial Vehicle Technician:
  • Conducting servicing, maintenance, and repairs on commercial vehicles
  • Diagnosing faults accurately and efficiently
  • Performing vehicle inspections and visual health checks
  • Ensuring all vehicles are safe, roadworthy, and prepared to manufacturer standards
  • Maintaining detailed records of work carried out
  • Supporting the team to deliver high-quality workmanship within workshop timescales
  • Adhering to health and safety procedures and manufacturer guidelines
Requirements of the Commercial Vehicle Technician:
  • Level 3 NVQ, City & Guilds, or equivalent qualification in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair
  • Minimum of 3 years' workshop experience
  • Strong diagnostic and servicing skills
  • MOT Tester licence (advantageous but not essential)
  • Full UK driving licence with no more than 6 penalty points
  • Strong attention to detail and a positive attitude
  • Ability to work effectively within a busy team environment
