We are currently seeking an experienced Van Technician to join our client’s respected commercial vehicle team in Carlisle, Cumbria. Duties of the Van Technician:
  • Inspect and repair vans to DVSA standards, including MOT preparation and presentation
  • Fault diagnosis using advanced diagnostic equipment
  • Conduct general mechanical and electrical repairs
  • Ensure high levels of customer service by maintaining vehicle roadworthiness
  • Comply with health and safety policies and procedures
  • Record work completed accurately and efficiently
  • Assist in maintaining workshop standards and safety
Requirements of the Van Technician:
  • Level 3 vehicle maintenance qualification or equivalent
  • Proven experience as a Van Technician or Car Technician, with dealership background preferred
  • Ability to work to high quality standards
  • Strong team-working skills and a proactive attitude
  • Good organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Awareness of health and safety regulations
  • Own set of tools
  • Full UK driving licence
