We are working on behalf of our client, a reputable franchise-approved commercial vehicle dealer group operating nationwide for over 50 years, to recruit a highly skilled Light Commercial Vehicle (LCV)/Van Technician for their busy dealership in Gloucester. Duties of the Van Technician:
  • Complete all service, maintenance, and repair work to manufacturer standards efficiently and accurately
  • Perform comprehensive diagnosis and repairs of vehicle malfunctions
  • Support colleagues with technical issues and knowledge-sharing
  • Document diagnostic findings, repairs, safety inspections, and service reports accurately
  • Adhere strictly to all company policies and procedures
  • Maintain high quality standards in a busy workshop environment
  • Support the workshop team to meet productivity targets and ensure customer satisfaction
Requirements of the Van Technician:
  • Qualified to IMI/NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair
  • At least 1-2 years of relevant practical experience post-qualification
  • Experience working on vans and light commercial vehicles is advantageous but not essential
  • Excellent team player with a strong work ethic as the Van Technician
  • Ability to produce high-quality work in a fast-paced environment
  • Motivated to achieve targets and committed to continuous professional development
