- Conduct detailed inspections and assessments of damaged commercial vehicles and HGVs
- Prepare accurate repair estimates for customers, insurers, fleet operators, and third parties
- Utilise industry-standard estimating systems such as Audatex and manufacturer methods
- Identify all repair requirements, including parts and labour operations
- Liaise effectively with customers, insurers, engineers, parts suppliers, and internal teams
- Collaborate closely with workshop, parts, and operations departments to ensure smooth repair progress
- Maintain accurate records and update internal management systems
- Negotiate repair costs with insurers and customers where necessary
- Deliver high-quality customer service and uphold a professional, courteous approach at all times
- Proven experience as a Vehicle Damage Assessor (VDA), Estimator, Damage Assessor or Commercial Vehicle Estimator
- Prior experience assessing commercial vehicles and HGV accident damage
- Strong knowledge of commercial vehicle repair methods and processes
- Proficiency in industry-standard estimating software such as Audatex
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Reliable, organised, and able to perform under pressure
- Professional attitude and customer-focused approach
- Full UK driving licence preferred
