Vehicle Estimator in North Killingholme

RMS have a new opportunity to join a state-of-the-art automotive business. We are looking for an experienced Vehicle Estimator to join our team and play a vital role in delivering exceptional service ensuring clients receive nothing but the highest standard of service.

The main task of the role is to assess and estimate the level of damage and determine which rectification work is required in line with customer requirements and individual manufacturer standards.

Experience

• Previous experience within the automotive industry
• Competent in Estimating and Automotive Inspections with at least two years’ experience
• Must have Audatex experience

Key Tasks

• Determine extent of damage, whether this be structural, body, mechanical or interior damage
• Calculate and produce an estimate cost of repair
• Document damages, parts required and estimated time of repair on Autosoft 2020
• Liaise with the workshop and management as required
• Familiarise yourself with the workings of all company departments and assist as required
• Ensure all vehicles are estimated, with correct repairs and timings identified in line with individual manufacturer standards
• Carry out estimates and inspections on vehicles to determine repair methods required
• Ability to work independently but liaise effectively with colleagues and support each department to ensure quality is maintained
• Be familiar with the workings of other departments and the ability to multi-task to support other areas throughout busy period

Qualifications

• NVQ (or equivalent) in Mechanics would be an advantage
