Vehicle Fitters

Recruit4staff are proud to be representing their client, a leading company, in their search for Vehicle Fitters to work in their leading facility based in Stoke on Trent.

For the successful Vehicle Fitters, our client is offering:

• Starting pay rate of £12.85 - £15.07, this completely depends on experience
• Days position - 7:30am-5pm with a 12:30pm finish on Fridays
• Overtime available - (Time and a half during the week & on Saturdays / Double Time on Sundays)
• Temporary to Permanent position
• Bonus at Christmas depending on business performance
• Extra 1 day annual leave after 5 years of service
• Extra 2 days annual leave after 10 years of service

The Role - Vehicle Fitters:

• Use of hand and power tools daily
• Fitting brake systems onto the back of trailers
• Fitting suspension systems onto the back of trailers
• Working on low volume, high specification vehicles for blue chip customers
• Working from drawings

What our client is looking for in Vehicle Fitters:

• Own hand tools - PREFERRED 
• Our client is seeking candidates with experience in a similar area 
• Pneumatics knowledge
• Must be able to pass a DRUGS test at interview stage
• Ability to read from Engineering drawings
• Must be physically fit as this isn't Production Line based work
