What You Will Do: 

- Act as the technical arbitrator and accountable leader for whole-vehicle integration, ensuring compatibility with GRID, commodity and system strategies, and functional targets as part of the wider Vehicle Engineering landscape.

- Lead group functional integration for your vehicle area, reducing complexity and enabling the most efficient technical solutions to land on time.

- Partner closely with the Vehicle Attribute Robustness team to drive embedded design quality, service requirements, and manufacturing needs from concept through to delivery.

- Progress vehicle technical data across CAD, DV, AIMS, build, test and releasing by aligning with groups and interfacing team leads.

- Oversee Minimum Viable Product delivery into both virtual and physical verification and validation across the programme lifecycle.

- Drive cross-group obstacle resolution, escalating technical blockers quickly through the appropriate process to support timely decision-making.

What You Will Bring:

- Automotive technical knowledge with strong experience of complex interactions and decision-making across vehicle, system, and component design and delivery.

- Demonstrable ability to lead teams tackling intricate engineering problems using structured approaches such as 8D and/or Six Sigma.

- Strong written and verbal technical communication, including influencing and negotiation skills with a customer-first mindset.

- Experience managing delivery against a complex set of programme technical deliverables, with comfort using Agile ways of working.

- A resilient, credible leadership style that can challenge stakeholders constructively and drive agreement through clarity and transparency.
