Vehicle Mechanic / MOT Tester

About Us

C&M MOT Centre is a busy, well-established MOT and vehicle repair garage based in Failsworth. Due to continued growth and increasing customer demand, we are looking to recruit an experienced Vehicle Mechanic to join our friendly and professional team. An MOT Testing qualification would be advantageous but is not essential.

Key Responsibilities

• Carrying out vehicle servicing, maintenance and repairs on a range of makes and models.
• Diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults efficiently.
• Performing routine inspections and safety checks.
• Completing repairs in line with manufacturer and industry standards.
• Conducting MOT tests where qualified.
• Ensuring all work is completed safely and to a high standard.
• Maintaining a clean and organised working environment.
• Providing excellent customer service when required.

What We're Looking For

• Previous experience as a Vehicle Mechanic, Technician or Automotive Engineer.
• Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills.
• MOT Tester qualification desirable but not essential.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Full UK Driving Licence preferred.
• Reliable, hardworking and committed to delivering quality workmanship.
