VEHICLE TECHNICIAN
Location: Hull
Salary: £35,800 - £46,500 Basic Salary DOE | OTE £42,000 - £53,000
Hours: Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week | Rota between 8:00am - 6:00pm
Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent

THE ROLE
As a Vehicle Technician, you'll be responsible for carrying out servicing, repairs, diagnostics and vehicle preparation while ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently and to the highest possible standards.
Key responsibilities include:
·Carrying out servicing and repairs on a range of vehicles
·Performing mechanical and electrical diagnostics
·Carrying out fault finding and repairs
·Working on EV and hybrid vehicle systems
·Completing software updates where required
·Preparing new and used vehicles for sale
·Ensuring all work is completed accurately and efficiently
·Maintaining excellent standards of workmanship and attention to detail
·Working collaboratively with the wider workshop team
 
ABOUT YOU
We're keen to hear from candidates who can demonstrate:
·Minimum Level 3 NVQ (or equivalent) in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair
·Previous experience within a professional automotive workshop
·Strong mechanical and diagnostic ability
·Experience with modern vehicle technology, including EV/Hybrid systems, is desirable
·A genuine commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship
·A positive attitude and willingness to continue developing technically
·Full UK Driving Licence
·Ability to pass a satisfactory DBS check
·Main dealer experience is desirable but not essential
