Our client, a reputable independent garage located near Sunbury-on-Thames, Surrey, is currently seeking an experienced Vehicle Technician / Engine Fitter to join their team. Benefits for the successful Vehicle Technician / Engine Fitter:
- Salary up to £40,000, depending on experience
- Monday to Friday, 7:30am – 5:30pm
- No weekends required

- Conduct service and repair checks on a variety of vehicle makes and models
- Diagnose faults accurately and efficiently
- Fit engines, clutches, cambelts, and perform welding tasks
- Complete work within specified timeframes, adhering to company standards
- Maintain a professional image and high standards of quality service
- Ensure vehicle safety and roadworthiness following repairs and servicing
- Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician / Engine Fitter within a main dealer or independent garage environment
- Full UK driving licence
- Competence with engine work, timing belts, clutches, and welding
- Fully qualified technicians preferred; 'time served' technicians with a stable background will be considered
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
- Motivated to develop skills and knowledge continuously
- Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship
