We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Vehicle Technician to join a successful main dealership in Stratford-upon-Avon. This role offers a basic salary of up to £40,000, with On-Target Earnings (OTE) of up to £44,000, plus an excellent benefits package and opportunities for career progression and manufacturer training.
Job Role – Vehicle Technician
Salary: Up to £40,000 Basic | OTE Up to £44,000 + Benefits
Location: Stratford-upon-Avon
Working Hours:
- Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 5:00pm (40-hour week)
- 1 in 3 Saturday mornings, 8:30am – 1:00pm
- Carry out servicing, maintenance, and repairs on a wide range of vehicles to manufacturer standards.
- Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults using the latest diagnostic equipment.
- Complete all work efficiently while adhering to manufacturer repair times.
- Accurately record diagnosis, work completed, and parts used in line with dealership and manufacturer procedures.
- Conduct vehicle health checks and report any additional work required.
- Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment in line with Health & Safety regulations.
- Liaise professionally with Service Advisors and colleagues to ensure an excellent customer experience.
- Ensure the highest standards of workmanship and customer satisfaction are achieved at all times.
- NVQ Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (or equivalent).
- At least 2 years' post-qualification experience as a Vehicle Technician, preferably within a main dealership.
- Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills.
- Excellent technical knowledge and attention to detail.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- A proactive attitude with a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
