MOT Technician

Our client, a reputable dealership in Romford, Essex, is seeking an experienced MOT Technician to join their busy team. Duties:

• Conduct technical diagnostics and repairs to meet customer expectations while exceeding productivity targets
• Perform MOT Testing in compliance with UK regulations and company standards
• Carry out vehicle health checks with precision to ensure safety and reliability as the MOT Technician
• Maintain and update technical knowledge through manufacturer training programmes
• Ensure all repair work adheres to manufacturer quality standards
• Support warranty processes and assist in delivering excellent customer service
• Uphold health and safety protocols in the workshop at all times

Requirements:

• City & Guilds or NVQ Level 3 qualification in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair
• MOT Tester qualification
• Full UK driving licence
• Previous experience in inspection, repair, and servicing of motor vehicles
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Experience working within a franchised dealership is highly desirable but not essential
