Pay / salary: Up to £42,000 Basic + Efficiency Bonus + Team Bonus + Overtime DOE & Qualifications
Job type: Permanent / full-time role
Shift and schedule: 5 days a week, including a rotated weekend schedule

You would be joining a well-established car dealership and one of the UK's leading independent franchised dealership groups. The business has grown into a multi-site automotive retail operation, representing a wide range of well-known manufacturers across the UK. This client is committed to delivering exceptional customer service across new and used vehicle sales, servicing, repairs, MOTs, parts, fleet services, and aftersales support.
Skills and experience
- Qualified to NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds, or equivalent in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair
- At least 3 years of practical experience working in a busy workshop environment (highly experienced Level 2 Technicians may be considered)
- Own tools suitable for day-to-day workshop servicing and repair duties
- Carry out servicing, maintenance, and repair work efficiently and accurately to manufacturer and franchise standards.
- Use advanced diagnostic equipment and workshop processes to identify and resolve complex vehicle faults.
- Carry out thorough electronic visual health checks to ensure customer vehicles are fully safe and roadworthy.
- Complete accurate service records, digital checklists, and repair documentation in line with company and manufacturer procedures.
- Replace parts, components, lubricants, and consumables cleanly and correctly first time.
- Work professionally with Service Advisors, workshop control, and colleagues to support customer satisfaction and workshop productivity.
