If you're an experienced Vehicle Technician looking for a new opportunity with strong earning potential and the chance to develop within an established dealership, this could be worth a closer look.

You'll join an established automotive retailer in Dorchester, offering a competitive basic salary dependent on experience, with an OTE of around £40,000.

THE OPPORTUNITY

The workshop is looking for a capable Technician who can work efficiently while maintaining high standards of workmanship, safety and customer service.

The role will involve servicing, maintenance, repairs and diagnostics, using modern workshop equipment and manufacturer technical information.

THE ROLE

• Service, maintain and repair customer vehicles

• Carry out routine servicing and mechanical repairs

• Diagnose faults using modern diagnostic equipment

• Follow manufacturer procedures and technical information

• Complete work efficiently and to a high standard

• Work towards agreed productivity and efficiency targets

• Complete accurate job records and documentation

• Work closely with Service Advisors and the wider aftersales team

• Maintain high standards of safety and workmanship

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

You’ll need:

• NVQ Level 3 or equivalent

• Strong servicing, maintenance and repair experience

• Confidence using modern diagnostic equipment

• Good understanding of manufacturer procedures

• Good communication skills

• Full UK driving licence

It would be great if you also have:

• Main dealership experience

• Manufacturer training or accreditation

• Experience working to workshop productivity targets

• Diagnostic experience

• Hybrid or electric vehicle experience

• MOT Tester qualification
