Our client, a well-established family-run franchise dealership in Stockton, is seeking a skilled Vehicle Technician to join their dedicated and friendly team. This Vehicle Technician opportunity offers the chance to work within a trusted local business with a strong reputation for customer service and repeat business. Benefits:
  • Basic salary of up to £38,000
  • OTE of up to £42,000
  • Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 5:00pm, with optional weekend work

Duties:
  • Carry out routine vehicle servicing, repairs, and diagnostics
  • Conduct mechanical and electrical repairs to a high standard
  • Use diagnostic equipment to identify issues and resolve faults
  • Complete all associated documentation accurately
  • Ensure vehicles meet safety and quality standards as a Vehicle Technician
  • Guide and support junior team members when necessary
  • Maintain workshop tools and equipment to a high standard
  • Ensure timely completion of all assigned work
Requirements of the Vehicle Technician:
  • Level 3 qualification in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or a relevant equivalent
  • Demonstrable experience working in a main dealer or independent garage
  • Full UK driving licence
  • MOT licence is desirable but not essential
  • Strong mechanical skills and diagnostic ability
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality work
  • Proactive attitude and good communication skills
