Our client, a reputable family-run independent garage in Mansfield, is seeking a skilled Vehicle Technician to join their established team. This is an excellent long-term opportunity for a qualified professional looking for job security within a supportive environment.

Duties of a Vehicle Technician:
  • Perform servicing, maintenance, and repairs on a variety of vehicles
  • Diagnose faults accurately and conduct mechanical repairs
  • Complete clutch, brake, suspension, and engine work as a Vehicle Technician
  • Conduct vehicle inspections and identify additional repair requirements
  • Ensure all work is completed to high standards within agreed timescales
  • Maintain detailed job records and workshop documentation
  • Collaborate with fellow technicians to optimise workshop efficiency
Requirements of a Vehicle Technician:
  • NVQ / IMI Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent
  • Strong diagnostic skills and fault-finding ability
  • Experience in servicing and repairs, capable of working independently
  • MOT licence desirable but not essential
  • Reliable and professional work approach
  • Ability to work effectively within a team
  • Full UK Driving Licence
