Duties of a Vehicle Technician:
  • Maintain, service, and repair a wide range of vehicles to the highest standards
  • Conduct routine maintenance and complex repairs, ensuring first-time fix rates are achieved
  • Complete MOT testing in line with regulatory standards
  • Diagnose faults accurately using problem-solving skills and diagnostic equipment
  • Communicate effectively with customers, providing excellent service
  • Work collaboratively within a team to enhance the customer experience
  • Adhere to health and safety regulations and dealership policies at all times
Requirements of a Vehicle Technician:
  • Relevant formal qualification such as City & Guilds, NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Automotive
  • Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician within a main dealership or independent garage
  • Own set of tools necessary for repairs and diagnostics
  • Full UK driving licence to operate company and customer vehicles
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
