We are representing a reputable premium automotive retailer in Solihull seeking an experienced Vehicle Technician. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled professional to join a modern, manufacturer-led workshop with opportunities for career development and industry-leading facilities.

  • Basic salary up to £36,000 dependent on experience
  • Realistic OTE of £40,000 - £45,000+ with overtime paid at 1.5x rate

  • Working hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 5:30pm, with a Saturday rota of 1 in 3/4, 8:30am - 12:30pm (additional Saturdays available if desired)
Duties as a Vehicle Technician will include: 
  • Carry out vehicle servicing, maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs to manufacturer standards
  • Diagnose faults efficiently using advanced diagnostic equipment
  • Complete vehicle health checks and identify additional work as required
  • Ensure all work is completed in line with manufacturer procedures and standards
  • Maintain accurate workshop records and documentation
  • Collaborate effectively with the wider workshop and aftersales team
  • Support a safe, clean, and organised working environment
Requirements:
  • Qualified Vehicle Technician (Level 3 NVQ, City & Guilds, or equivalent)
  • Proven experience in a dealership or independent workshop environment
  • Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
  • Full UK driving licence
  • MOT certification advantageous but not essential
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work within a team
  • Commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship
