Duties of a Vehicle Technician:
  • Conduct diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on a wide range of vehicles
  • Communicate repair issues effectively to service managers and advisors
  • Use manufacturer diagnostic equipment for thorough testing and repair
  • Complete repairs within agreed timeframes adhering to company standards
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work environment as a Vehicle Technician
  • Keep accurate records of work carried out and parts used
  • Assist in identifying additional repair needs and communicate with team efficiently
Requirements of a Vehicle Technician:
  • Experience as a Vehicle Technician is essential
  • Fully qualified to NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Vehicle Maintenance or similar
  • Time-served technicians with relevant experience will be considered
  • Full UK driving licence is mandatory
  • Ability to use diagnostic tools and equipment effectively
  • Willingness to learn and develop new skills
  • Organisational skills and ability to work under pressure
  • A team player attitude and good communication skills
