We are currently recruiting on behalf of our client, a leading leasing and rental company based in Cannock, for the position of Vehicle Technician. This is an excellent opportunity for skilled and experienced Vehicle Technicians looking to develop their careers within a reputable organisation specialising in vehicle leasing and rental services in the West Midlands.

Duties of the Vehicle Technician:
  • Provide care and attention to all vehicles handled
  • Perform servicing and repairs on a variety of vehicles
  • Conduct diagnostic testing to identify vehicle faults
  • Maintain high standards of workmanship and safety
  • Keep accurate technical records for each job
  • Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times
  • Carry out vehicle inspections, ensuring compliance with warranty and safety standards
  • Support other team members as required
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician, Car Mechanic, or Service Technician
  • Full UK/EU Driving Licence is essential
  • Strong diagnostic skills and technical knowledge
  • Ability to work efficiently in a busy environment
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Relevant formal qualifications, such as Level 3 Motor Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent, are preferred
  • IMI Accreditation is available and encouraged
  • Experience with hybrid and electric vehicles is desirable
