We are currently recruiting on behalf of a leading automotive retailer for a Vehicle Technician to join their busy dealership. Benefits:
  • Basic salary of up to £40,000, dependent on experience
  • On target earnings of approximately £43,000
  • 40-hour working week, Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 5:00 pm
  • 1 in 3 Saturdays, 8:30 am to 12:30 pm

Duties of the Vehicle Technician:
  • Repair and service vehicles to manufacturer standards
  • Conduct diagnostic checks to identify faults as a Vehicle Technician
  • Inspect vehicles for wear and tear or general faults
  • Complete work in compliance with DVSA standards
  • Provide excellent customer service and technical advice
  • Perform vehicle maintenance and repairs using the latest technology
  • Maintain accurate records of work carried out
Requirements:
  • NVQ Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent qualification
  • Full UK Driving Licence
  • MOT Licence is desirable but not essential
  • Proven experience working within a workshop environment
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Customer-focused attitude and excellent communication skills
  • Enthusiasm to develop skills further through training opportunities
