Our client, an independent automotive service centre based in Shaftesbury, Wiltshire, is seeking an experienced Vehicle Technician to join their friendly workshop team. This opportunity offers a competitive salary, excellent working conditions, and ongoing professional development.

Duties of a Vehicle Technician:
  • Conduct fault diagnosis, servicing, maintenance and repair work on customer vehicles in line with manufacturer standards
  • Report vehicle condition, safety, reliability, and performance to the Front of House Manager
  • Ensure health and safety protocols and work quality procedures are strictly adhered to
  • Maintain high standards of work and customer service
  • Work efficiently within a busy workshop environment, meeting set targets
Requirements for a Vehicle Technician:
  • No formal qualifications required; extensive practical experience as a Vehicle Technician will be considered
  • IMI/NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair would be advantageous
  • Valid UK driving licence with minimal points
  • Strong team player with a commitment to quality workmanship
  • Motivation to succeed and work towards team targets
  • Individuals holding a Class 4 and 7 MOT testing licence are highly desirable; full training can be provided for suitable individuals
