We are recruiting on behalf of our client for the position of Vehicle Technician in Crawley, West Sussex. This opportunity is ideally suited for a skilled and experienced Vehicle Technician specialising in German brands, looking to advance their career within a reputable independent workshop.

  • Competitive salary package ranging from £40,000 to £60,000 per annum, dependent on experience and skills
  • Monday to Friday working hours, from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with no weekend work

Duties for the Vehicle Technician:
  • Perform diagnostics, servicing, and repairs on a diverse range of German brand vehicles, including high-performance models
  • Lead in advanced diagnostics using equipment such as Autologic, ISTA, and Hunter wheel aligners
  • Work on both modern and classic German vehicles, maintaining high standards of quality
  • Conduct MOT tests (training provided if necessary)
  • Maintain detailed records of all work undertaken
  • Deliver excellent customer service and contribute to the workshop’s reputation for reliability and quality
Individual requirements for the Vehicle Technician role:
  • Significant experience working as a Vehicle Technician specialising in German brands at a senior level
  • Level 3 qualification or equivalent in Motor Vehicle Engineering
  • Proven diagnostic expertise with modern electronic systems and OEM diagnostic tools
  • Experience working with high-end and performance vehicles is highly desirable
  • MOT testing qualification (training can be provided if needed)
  • Reliable, detail-oriented, and committed to excellence in every aspect of job performance
  • Strong team player with excellent communication skills
  • Willingness to work on a variety of models, including classics and modern vehicles
