Our client, a reputable and expanding franchise-approved dealership in Cheltenham, Gloucestershire, is seeking a fully qualified Vehicle Technician to join their Service Department. Duties of the Vehicle Technician:
  • Servicing, repairs, and diagnostics on a variety of vehicles
  • Carrying out PDI inspections and used vehicle preparations
  • Fault diagnosis and reporting on vehicle condition, safety, and performance
  • Ensuring all work is completed to manufacturer standards and dealership quality expectations
  • Contributing to the efficient running of the workshop, supporting team objectives
  • Maintaining accurate documentation and workshop procedures
  • Assisting with ongoing vehicle maintenance requirements as workload develops
Requirements of the Vehicle Technician:
  • Fully qualified Vehicle Technician with NVQ Level 3 / IMI certification or equivalent in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair
  • Minimum of one to two years’ post-qualification experience within a franchise dealership preferred
  • Experience with vehicle preparation and PDI work advantageous
  • MOT licence is desirable but not essential
  • Valid driving licence with minimal points
  • Strong work ethic, team player attitude, and commitment to quality work
  • Ability to diagnose faults accurately and efficiently
  • Professional attitude and a proactive approach to ongoing learning
