Our client, a well-established family-run independent garage in Mansfield, Nottinghamshire, is looking to recruit a skilled Vehicle Technician. This is a unique opportunity for experienced technicians seeking a relaxed working environment with a focus on quality rather than targets.   • Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 5:00pm, with 1 in 2 Saturdays, 8:00am – 12:00pm
Duties of a Vehicle Technician:
  • Conduct servicing, maintenance, and repairs on various vehicles
  • Diagnose faults and complete repairs efficiently
  • Perform vehicle inspections and health checks as a Vehicle Technician
  • Ensure all work is completed to high standards within designated timescales
  • Vehicle Technician's should maintain accurate job records and workshop documentation
  • Collaborate with the workshop team to deliver high-quality customer service
Requirements of a Vehicle Technician:
  • Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair preferred (not essential with sufficient experience)
  • Minimum of 2 years' workshop experience
  • Confident in servicing and mechanical repairs across multiple vehicle types
  • Ability to work independently whilst maintaining high standards
  • Positive attitude with a strong team ethic
  • Full UK Driving Licence
