We are currently seeking an experienced Vehicle Technician on behalf of a reputable automotive service centre with multiple locations nationwide. This is an excellent Vehicle Technician opportunity for a skilled professional to join a dynamic team in Trowbridge, Wiltshire.

  • 42.5-hour week: Monday to Friday, 8:30am-5:00pm, with 1 in 2 Saturdays, 8:30am-4:00pm (day off in the week when working a Saturday)
Duties of a Vehicle Technician:
  • Conduct mechanical servicing and repair of cars and light vans in accordance with company procedures and safety regulations
  • Ensure work is completed to a high standard, in line with customer expectations and the customer journey
  • Liaise effectively with workshop team members to ensure smooth workflow
  • Maintain accurate records of work carried out
  • Assist in diagnosing vehicle faults and advising customers accordingly
  • Comply with Health & Safety regulations at all times
  • Support other workshop tasks as required
Requirements of a Vehicle Technician:
  • Valid UK driving licence with minimal points
  • Qualified to IMI/NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair
  • Practical experience within an automotive workshop environment preferred
  • Knowledge of vehicle servicing and repair procedures
  • Strong communication and team-working skills
  • Ability to work independently and efficiently under pressure
