Duties of a Vehicle Technician :
  • Carry out vehicle repairs and maintenance to manufacturer standards
  • Perform detailed inspections of vehicle components
  • Diagnose technical issues accurately and efficiently
  • Provide expert technical advice to customers
  • Ensure excellent customer service, fostering trust and satisfaction 
  • Collaborate with the service reception and workshop teams
  • Assist and support fellow Vehicle Technicians in daily workshop activities
Requirements of a Vehicle Technician :
  • NVQ Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair or equivalent qualification
  • Strong understanding of vehicle safety standards
  • Proven problem-solving skills and high attention to detail
  • Ability to work efficiently without compromising quality
  • Excellent communication and teamworking skills
  • Valid UK driving licence; MOT licence advantageous but not essential
  • Enthusiasm for continuous learning and professional growth
