We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Vehicle Technician to join a reputable independent garage in Bedford. Our client is looking for a dedicated professional to deliver exceptional vehicle servicing, repairs, and diagnostics within a busy workshop environment. This Vehicle Technician role presents a fantastic opportunity to work with a well-established business known for its commitment to quality and customer satisfaction.

Duties of a Vehicle Technician:
  • Conduct servicing, maintenance, and repairs to a high standard
  • Diagnose and rectify mechanical faults efficiently and accurately
  • Perform timing belt and clutch replacements with confidence as a Vehicle Technician
  • Prepare vehicles for MOT testing and assist with general workshop repairs
  • Work on a diverse selection of vehicles, ensuring all work is completed safely and to manufacturer standards
  • Maintain high levels of workmanship and customer service
  • Collaborate effectively with team members to ensure workshop productivity and quality
Requirements of a Vehicle Technician:
  • Minimum Level 2 Vehicle Maintenance & Repair qualification (or equivalent)
  • Previous workshop experience is essential
  • Confident in timing belt and clutch replacements
  • Strong diagnostic and mechanical repair skills
  • Ability to work independently and within a team environment
  • Full UK driving licence.
