We are recruiting on behalf of our client for a Vehicle Technician position based in West Sussex. Our client is a reputable dealership seeking a skilled individual to join their professional service team. This role offers an excellent opportunity for a Vehicle Technician to apply their expertise and develop within a forward-thinking environment, specialising in the latest vehicle technologies including electric and hydraulic systems.

Duties of a Vehicle Technician:
  • Conduct diagnostic, servicing, and repair works to manufacturer standards
  • Perform EV and hydraulic repairs safely and efficiently, subject to qualification
  • Use advanced diagnostic equipment to identify and resolve complex faults
  • Ensure all work maintains high standards of quality, safety, and safety procedures
  • Mentor and support Apprentice Technicians in their development
  • Maintain high levels of safety, quality control, and customer satisfaction
Requirements:
  • Level 3 qualification or equivalent in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair
  • Recognised diagnostic qualification (desirable but not essential) 
  • Previous experience as a Vehicle Technician or Mechanic preferred
  • Strong teamwork skills with attention to detail and safety protocols
  • Motivated to develop skills through manufacturer training, particularly in EV technology
  • Commitment to delivering excellent customer service and maintaining high safety standards
