Our client is a reputable automotive dealership in Manchester seeking a skilled and experienced Vehicle Technician to join their dedicated team. Duties of the Vehicle Technician:
  • Perform comprehensive vehicle servicing and routine maintenance, including fluid changes and component replacements
  • Conduct diagnostic assessments and warranty repairs accurately and efficiently
  • Complete digital job cards and detailed reports for all work undertaken
  • Carry out electronic vehicle health checks (eVHCs) to ensure vehicle safety and reliability
  • Adhere strictly to safety standards and manufacturer procedures during all tasks
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organised workshop environment
  • Support team members and uphold high standards of customer service and quality
Requirements of the Vehicle Technician:
  • Recognised Level 3 qualification (such as IMI, City & Guilds, or equivalent)
  • Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician or Mechanic, with experience in warranty work and routine servicing
  • Strong diagnostic skills and comprehensive knowledge of vehicle systems
  • MOT licence is highly desirable; full training available if not held
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
  • Commitment to safety, quality, and customer satisfaction
  • Eagerness to learn and develop within a manufacturer-supported training environment
