We are currently recruiting for a Vehicle Technician on behalf of a reputable Main Dealer in Stoke-on-Trent, Staffordshire. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled and experienced motor trade professional to join a well-established dealership group committed to delivering high standards of service and customer satisfaction.

Duties of a Vehicle Technician:
  • Conduct routine servicing, repairs, and maintenance on VAG Group vehicles in accordance with manufacturer standards
  • Diagnose electrical, mechanical, and electronic faults using approved diagnostic equipment
  • Complete warranty, retail, and internal repair work accurately within specified timeframes
  • Carry out vehicle health checks and identify additional work requirements
  • Maintain detailed and accurate records of all work performed as a Vehicle Technician
  • Work efficiently to achieve high first-time fix rates and productivity targets
  • Follow all workshop processes, technical bulletins, and quality protocols
  • Keep diagnostic tools and equipment in a safe, clean, and operational condition
  • Collaborate effectively with colleagues, including Service Advisors and Parts Department
  • Support junior technicians and apprentices as required
  • Uphold manufacturer standards and dealership policies at all times
Requirements of a Vehicle Technician:
  • NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair
  • Previous experience as an automotive technician within a franchised dealership or professional workshop
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering quality workmanship
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Knowledge of vehicle diagnostics and repair procedures
