Our client, one of the UK's leading independent van supermarkets operating since 2002, is seeking a skilled Vehicle Technician to join their busy head office and workshop in Swindon. This opportunity offers excellent long-term career prospects within a reputable company processing over 200 vehicles monthly.
Benefits for the successful Vehicle Technician:
- Competitive starting salary between £35,000 and £55,000 per annum, depending on experience
- Overtime (including Saturdays) paid at an enhanced rate

- In-house technical training and development programmes

- Working hours: 8:00am-6:00pm Monday to Friday, with Saturday mornings 8:00am-1:30pm on a rota basis, paid as overtime
- Conduct fault diagnosis, servicing, and repairs on vehicles, primarily vans and light commercial vehicles
- Work to the standards specified by the client, ensuring high-quality work
- Accurately diagnose faults and report on vehicle condition, safety, reliability, and performance
- Adhere to health and safety procedures at all times
- Maintain a high standard of work in a busy environment
- Assist with vehicle inspections and testing as required
- Collaborate with team members and support the Aftersales Manager
- Ideally qualified to IMI/NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair
- individuals with strong practical experience and no formal qualifications will also be considered
- Prior experience working on vans and light commercial vehicles is advantageous but not essential
- Hold a valid UK driving licence with minimal points
- Demonstrate a committed, hardworking attitude and team spirit
- Capable of producing high-quality work in a fast-paced environment
- Motivated to achieve targets and contribute to team success
