Duties of a Vehicle Technician:
  • Conduct servicing, maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs in line with manufacturer standards
  • Accurately diagnose mechanical and electrical faults using advanced diagnostic tools
  • Replace or repair defective components efficiently and safely
  • Road test vehicles to confirm repair quality
  • Follow manufacturer processes, checklists, and workshop procedures
  • Maintain accurate job records and workshop documentation
  • Keep tools, equipment, and the workshop clean and organised
  • Collaborate with colleagues to meet productivity and quality targets
Requirements of a Vehicle Technician:
  • Full UK driving licence
  • City & Guilds Level 3 or IMI Level 3 qualification (Level 2 candidates may be considered)
  • Proven diagnostic and technical skills
  • Positive attitude with excellent teamwork and communication skills
  • Commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship and outstanding customer service
