We are seeking an experienced Vehicle Technician to join our client’s reputable automotive workshop in Clacton, Essex. This Vehicle Technician role provides an excellent opportunity to work within a busy, well-established team, maintaining vehicles to the highest standards. Our client offers a supportive environment where your skills will be valued and developed.

Benefits:
  • Competitive basic salary ranging from £38,610 to £44,460 per annum
  • Monday to Friday working hours, 8:30 am to 5:30 pm
  • Early starts possible from 7 am for added flexibility
  • Pay rate from £16.50 to £19 per hour, depending on experience

Duties of a Vehicle Technician:
  • Conducting minor servicing and general vehicle maintenance
  • Performing clutch replacements, cambelts, and timing chain work 
  • Diagnosing and repairing a wide range of vehicle faults
  • Maintaining high standards of quality control and efficiency within the workshop
  • Keeping accurate records of work performed and parts used
  • Ensuring workshop safety standards and best practices are followed
Requirements of a Vehicle Technician:
  • Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician within a busy automotive workshop
  • Ability to undertake a wide variety of repairs, from basic to complex tasks
  • Strong diagnostic skills and exceptional attention to detail
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Commitment to delivering excellent customer service and workshop standards
  • Right to work in the UK
