We are working on behalf of our client, a reputable automotive dealership based in Ashford, Kent, to recruit a highly skilled Vehicle Technician. This is an excellent Vehicle Technician opportunity for qualified technicians seeking to advance their career within a well-established and professional environment. Duties of a Vehicle Technician:
  • Perform vehicle repairs and servicing in accordance with manufacturer standards
  • Use diagnostic equipment to accurately identify and resolve faults
  • Carry out MOT repairs and assessments
  • Fit tyres, brakes, exhausts, batteries, suspension parts, and other mechanical components
  • Support fast-fit services, including wheel alignments and tyre fitting
  • Complete detailed, accurate repair records
  • Ensure all work complies with health and safety regulations
  • Advise customers on vehicle maintenance needs and future repairs
Requirements of a Vehicle Technician:
  • NVQ Level 3 or equivalent automotive qualification
  • Previous experience as a Vehicle Technician or similar role
  • Willingness to learn new skills and stay updated with emerging technologies
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to work efficiently under pressure 
  • Excellent teamwork and customer service skills
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Diagnostic equipment experience is highly desirable
