We are seeking a highly skilled Vehicle Technician to join a reputable independent family-run service centre located in Guildford. We are recruiting on behalf of our client to find a individual who embodies professionalism and technical excellence.

Duties of a Vehicle Technician:
  • Conduct advanced diagnostics using modern equipment and methods
  • Perform mechanical and electrical repairs, servicing, and maintenance on various vehicle makes and models
  • Support and mentor junior technicians to enhance team skills
  • Ensure all work complies with industry standards and quality controls
  • Complete MOT testing if certified, and manage related paperwork efficiently
  • Contribute to delivering exceptional customer service and maintain a professional workshop environment
  • Ensure a safe and organised working environment at all times
Requirements of a Vehicle Technician:
  • NVQ Level 3 or higher in Motor Vehicle Maintenance & Repair, or equivalent qualification
  • Proven experience as a Master Technician or Senior Vehicle Technician
  • Strong diagnostic skills with proficiency in interpreting fault codes
  • Full UK driving licence
  • MOT Tester certification is advantageous but not essential
  • Excellent communication skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving
  • Ability to work independently and contribute to team development
