Duties:
  • Conduct servicing, maintenance, repairs, and diagnostics to manufacturer standards
  • Complete electrical and mechanical repairs, including brakes, suspension, steering, exhausts, and air conditioning
  • Diagnose faults using the latest electronic diagnostic equipment
  • Work on electric and hybrid vehicles, with full training provided as needed
  • Fit manufacturer accessories and audio equipment
  • Accurately complete service paperwork in line with manufacturer standards
  • Collaborate with the workshop team, sharing knowledge to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Stay updated with the latest vehicle technologies and repair methods
Requirements for the Vehicle Technician position are:
  • Level 3 NVQ (or equivalent) in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Strong mechanical and electrical knowledge with a dedication to high-quality workmanship
  • Previous experience as a Vehicle Technician, ideally within main dealer, independent garage, fast-fit centre, or car supermarket
  • EV/Hybrid qualification and MOT licence are advantageous but not essential, as full training will be provided
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and customer service excellence
