We are currently recruiting for a Vehicle Technician on behalf of our client in Bodmin. This is a unique opportunity for experienced motor trade professionals seeking a stable, rewarding role within a reputable dealership. Our client is looking for a skilled and proactive Vehicle Technician to join their team and provide exceptional service to customers.

Benefits for the successful Vehicle Technician:
  • Competitive basic salary of approximately £35,000 per annum, with potential for more depending on experience
  • Potential OTE of £40,000 plus performance-related bonuses
  • Monday to Friday working hours from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm
  • One in four Saturday mornings, from 8:30 am to 12:30 pm

Duties:
  • Conduct vehicle diagnostics, repairs, and servicing efficiently and accurately
  • Ensure all work is completed to high standards and in line with manufacturer guidelines
  • Diagnose faults reliably and advise customers appropriately
  • Maintain comprehensive records of work carried out
  • Adhere strictly to health and safety protocols at all times
  • Collaborate with team members to meet workshop targets and enhance customer satisfaction
Requirements for the Vehicle Technician role:
  • Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician within a busy workshop or dealership environment
  • Relevant technical qualifications such as NVQ Level 3 in Motor Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent
  • Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment
  • Strong fault-finding skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills and a professional attitude
  • Valid UK driving licence
