Our client, a distinguished multi-franchise car dealer group operating across South West England, is seeking a Vehicle Technician to join their premium franchise-approved dealership in Salisbury. This is an excellent opportunity for skilled and motivated Vehicle Technicians looking to develop their career within a reputable organisation.

Duties as a Vehicle Technician:
  • Conduct fault diagnosis, servicing, and repairs in accordance with manufacturer and dealer standards
  • Report on vehicle condition, safety, reliability, and performance to the Workshop Controller
  • Ensure compliance with all health & safety policies and procedures
  • Maintain high-quality standards in a busy main dealer environment
  • Adhere to manufacturer and dealer procedures relating to vehicle repairs and servicing
  • Support team efforts to meet targets and deliver excellent customer service
  • Assist with diagnostics and some complex repairs, ensuring fault resolution is completed accurately and efficiently
Requirements:
  • Qualified to IMI/NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair OR Level 2 qualified with ongoing Level 3 training
  • Valid UK driving licence
  • Motivated, committed, and able to produce high-quality work under pressure
  • A team player with excellent attention to detail
  • Previous experience working within a main dealer environment is preferred
  • An active MOT Smart Card would be advantageous but not essential
  • Willingness to develop skills through manufacturer and dealer training
