We are recruiting on behalf of our client for a highly skilled Vehicle Technician to join a reputable main dealership in Derby. Duties of the Vehicle Technician:
  • Conduct servicing and repairs to manufacturer standards
  • Diagnose and rectify vehicle faults efficiently
  • Perform visual health checks on vehicles
  • Ensure all vehicles are safe, roadworthy, and meet customer expectations
  • Complete repairs and servicing within agreed timeframes
  • Maintain high standards of workmanship
  • Collaborate effectively within a busy workshop team
Requirements of the Vehicle Technician:
  • Level 3 NVQ, City & Guilds, or equivalent qualification
  • Minimum of 3 years’ practical workshop experience
  • Previous main dealer experience advantageous
  • MOT licence preferred but not essential for the Vehicle Technician
  • Strong mechanical skills with basic diagnostic capability
  • Pride in quality workmanship and attention to detail
  • Full UK driving licence with no more than 6 penalty points
  • Enthusiastic team player committed to ongoing professional development
