We are currently seeking an experienced Vehicle Technician to join our client’s busy automotive service centre in Weston-super-Mare.   • Starting salary between £33,000 and £36,000 per annum, dependent on experience and qualifications
  • Performance-related bonus scheme averaging £3,600 annually
  • Guaranteed 5-day, 42.5-hour week, Monday to Friday, 8:30am-5:00pm
  • One in two Saturdays, 8:30am-4:00pm, with a day off in the week when working a Saturday

Duties of the Vehicle Technician:
  • Carry out mechanical servicing and repairs on cars and light vans
  • Ensure all work complies with company procedures and Health & Safety regulations
  • Maintain high standards of quality and professionalism in line with customer service expectations
  • Assist with diagnostics and repairs, following manufacturer guidelines
  • Communicate effectively with team members to ensure efficient workflow
  • Complete required documentation accurately and promptly as the Vehicle Technician
  • Support the team in maintaining a safe and clean workshop environment
Requirements of the Vehicle Technician:
  • UK driving licence with minimal points
  • Qualified to IMI/NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair
  • Practical experience in an automotive workshop environment preferred
  • Strong team player with excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure and adhere to deadlines
  • Proactive attitude and a commitment to quality workmanship
