- Conduct servicing, maintenance, and mechanical repairs on a wide range of vehicles
- Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults using diagnostic equipment
- Perform MOT testing and related repairs where qualified
- Replace brakes, tyres, cambelts, clutches, and perform engine repairs
- Undertake gearbox replacements and associated repairs
- Diagnose and repair air conditioning systems, including re-gassing
- Carry out welding and general mechanical repairs as needed
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organised workshop environment
- Complete accurate documentation and clearly communicate work requirements
- At least 3 years’ experience as a Vehicle Technician
- Strong diagnostic and mechanical repair skills
- Proven ability to carry out servicing, repairs, and diagnostics
- Experience working on brakes, tyres, cambelts, clutch replacements, and MOT repairs
- Additional skills in air conditioning and welding are desirable
- Current Class 4 MOT Tester licence is highly desirable; individuals with MOT experience and DVSA certification are preferred
- Relevant qualifications such as C&G or NVQ Level 2/3 in Motor Vehicle Technology are preferred, though demonstrated experience will be considered
- Full UK driving licence
